Mary Berry Cauliflower Cheese Pie Variations
- Bacon: Cook the bacon before adding it to the Mary Berry cauliflower cheese soup. Bacon can be cooked in the oven, air-fried, or microwaved, then chopped and added at the end. Alternatively, fry the uncooked bacon in the Dutch oven first, then saute the garlic in the bacon grease.
- Other vegetables: Alongside the garlic, you can saute celery and carrots. If you choose to keep them in chunks rather than pureed, remove them before adding the cauliflower to the soup and return them at the end. You could even make this a hybrid of basic Mary Berry cauliflower cheese pie by replacing half of the cauliflower with broccoli.
Pro Tips To Make Perfect Cauliflower Cheese Mary Berry
- Seasoning is Essential: For the best flavor, season each layer separately.
- Broil for Finish: A brief broil can produce an irresistibly crispy, golden-brown top layer.
